This was our first international adventure and possibly our most audacious undertaking as we strapped on our flying goggles and headed Berlin bound.. far away from the comforts of good ol’ London Town! It was our first international production in a city seemingly purpose built for our Lost exploits, except for the snow…in April!
The space: a disused swimming pool in a gritty part of Berlin that we transformed for the evening, talks (naturally) took place at the bottom of the pool from an alchemists lab… the reception we received from the Berlin ‘lostlings’ was amazing and the speakers, despite having to slide down into the stage area (dangerous stuff) treated us to some heart-stopping high-board high jinx (Parkour One), crowd-walking from Peaches, Fulgurator fun-times by Julius V-B, and a host of other talks that spanned 3D printing, free will, community gardens and open government…
