James is the founder of the Boring Conference, a day dedicated to the mundane, the ordinary, the obvious and the overlooked. Since his first appearance at Lost back in 2012 he’s landed himself a BBC podcast called, The Boring Talks. James’ boring juggernaut aims to address topics such as the best way to catalogue a tie collection or discern the taste discrepancies of milks from different supermarkets. These things might seem slightly absurd or inconsequential, but for James and his esteemed guests, they are of sufficient interest to merit discussing them for an hour or so. James joins us to share some highlights from 6 years of doing Boring, so we’ve given him just 20 minutes, which should make it interesting.
