Helen is Chief Magazine Editor for Nature, the world’s leading science journal. She’s also a journalist, science communicator and author, and her popular science book, The Life Project, was named best science book in 2016. The Life Project is about a remarkable series of scientific studies that tracked generations of children growing up in Britain over 70 years, the results of which have changed the lives of everyone in Britain (who knew!) She joins us to share the untold stories of the mavericks, midwives and pioneers in its pages that changed medical history.
