Andrew Whitehurst

Andrew is an Oscar winning visual effects artist and the closest thing there is to a real-life movie magician. He’s known for an incredible body of work that includes Annihilation, Skyfall, Troy, Paddington, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Harry Potter and in 2016 he received the Academy Award for Best Special Effects for his work on Ex Machina. His work in bringing magic to our screens has seen him build 1000 ship armada in Troy and conjure up a full blown psychedelic trip-scape in Annihilation. He joins us to share some hand picked secrets and the journey from sketchpad to screen.
